FAQs

Your initial consultation will be a chance for us to chat and discuss what you would like to gain from our sessions. It is an opportunity for you to ask me any questions you may have about the process and for us to explore how I can best help you.
We can also use this time to discuss how counselling works and how you will be protected through the journey.

There is no fixed amount of counselling sessions as you may feel you need fewer or more than initially expected. The decision will be yours to decide.
However, I wouldn’t suggest more than one session a week, as it is important to allow a period of time between sessions to process your thoughts and emotions.

Sessions are completely confidential, and any notes Chloe takes from the sessions will be stored in line with GDPR guidelines to protect you.
Any exceptions and where there is a need to share information with other professionals, would be based around the safety of yourself and/or others. This process is fully explained within the initial consultation session.
